Pallavi is a New Delhi-based visual artist and film scholar and holds a PhD in Film Studies from the School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharfal Nehru University, New Delhi.

During her visit to Palmerston North, she delivered a lecture on “World-making in Troubled Times: Art as Intervention from the Global South” which featured a screening of one of her video artworks titled “How Love Moves”. The following day she facilitated a workshop titled “Against Finality: Documentary and the Politics of the Afterlife”. A White Paper on “The Architecture of Togetherness: Co-creation as Care”, co-authored with Professor Mohan Dutta will be released later this month.
